Denver Maintenance Minder Special

The illuminated wrench on your dashboard or MID screen is part of your maintenance minder system. It notifies you when your vehicle is in need of service. Alongside the lighted wrench, you will see a code that signifies which part of your vehicle needs maintenance.

These codes may seem confusing, but in your owner’s manual, there is a page under the maintenance section which details what each code means.

In summary, the main code (A or B) signifies whether you simply need an oil change, or something else needs servicing. The sub codes (1, 2, 3, or 4) dictate additional maintenance items that need to be checked or serviced in addition to the main code.

Codes may vary between makes and models, so check your owner’s manual for your vehicle’s specific codes.

Other service providers may charge you for unnecessary maintenance, or fail to replace certain items that need changing, but not Mile High Honda. Our Honda Service Department is conveniently located off of South Havana Street in Denver to provide you with the most efficient service for your vehicle.
