Honda Navigation System & DVD Updates

With technology constantly changing, there is always an update needed. Keeping your navigation system up to date gives you a peace of mind and saves time when getting from point A to point B and everywhere in between.

By keeping your nav updated, it will always be able to get you to your destination faster by having the maps properly optimized for finding the best routes and most accurate estimated arrival times.

What to know before you go?

HERE technologies are the only authorized site to purchase your navigation update from, other than Mile High or your other local Honda dealership. Purchasing from other sources can lead to poor and inaccurate information and be incompatible with your Honda.

Roads in your neighborhood, highways in your town and streets around the world are always opening, closing or under construction. To beat the frustration of finding you need an alternate route while in a rush, an updated navigation system can alert you with that critical information so you’re less likely to be late.

What about alternatives and replacement/update DVDs?

Honda dealerships do not keep these DVDs in stock, but our Mile High Honda Accessories staff will happily order one for you as a courtesy. They can also be ordered online at www.hondanavi.com. When getting a new disc, either in person or online, it is handy to know your DVD version – which can be found by ejecting the disc and locating the number near the bottom label. If you’re having difficulty finding the disc or number, come in and see us for additional help.

Some drivers prefer to use their phone GPS, and we understand that. The difference between your smartphone and vehicle navigation is all about the location. Instead of looking down or having to adjust your phone, the Honda tech screen was designed specifically for drivers to be able to listen to the prompts and be available regardless of network availability.

Map updates are released each Fall and are recommended to be updated then.
